The farm also owns part of the Knuttenalm, which is located approx. 30 km from St. Georgen in the beautiful Reintal valley. The alp lies at 1900 metres above sea level in the middle of the Rieserferner Nature Park. It is a popular destination for easy hikes and the starting point for several three-thousand metre peaks. From the car park behind Rein in Taufers, you can reach the Knuttenalm snack station after about an hour.
