In winter you can enjoy the slopes of the famous Kronplatz (4km), which you can easily reach by ski bus from St. Georgen. The ski areas Klausberg, Speikboden, Vals/Meransen, Helm, Cortina and Corvara with the Sella Ronda up to the Marmolada can be reached for day trips. There are also numerous cross-country ski trails and ice skating rinks in the area.
